This tour combines a realistic visit to the first half of the 19th century where guests glide along on a canal boat ride, then a look at a present day produce farm - famous for its luscious strawberries, fresh sweet corn corn, a wonderful market and gift shop. Add to that a trip to a nationally known nature center to wave to the birds from inside a 3-story glass enclosed viewing center, then stop by an old world style bread company to pick up a gorgeous artisan loaf of bread, or other scrumptious sweet treats. Discover Ohio's Aviation Pioneers
It all began over 70 years ago in the Dayton, Ohio workshop of aviation pioneers Orville and Wilbur Wright. Ohio "Buckeyes" not only invented flight, but by 1999, the state of Ohio had produced 23 astronauts! Ohio is known as the "Birthplace of Aviation", and this tour honors the Ohio Pioneers of Aviation History.
